INTRODUCTION TO JUDAISM - SUMMER 2008
An eight-week class that will cover the history, beliefs and practices of Judaism from antiquity to modern times. Rabbi Michael Mayersohn will discuss Jewish beliefs about God, salvation, the afterlife, the messiah and more.
Since this class is designed for a primarily Christian audience, there will be a special focus on aspects of Judaism that are relevant to Christians and Christianity. As a Jew in the first century, Jesus spoke about prayer, forgiveness and repentance, the Sabbath and the Temple rituals and those will all be discussed in the Introduction to Judaism class.
During the course Rabbi Michael will have an opportunity to go into considerable depth on the Jewish attitudes and beliefs about scripture and the place of God's words in our lives. Students will leave this class with a broad and thorough understanding of this ancient and enduring tradition.

CORINTHIANS - Mike Lambert, Teacher, Fireside Room, 9:00 AM on SUNDAYS. This is a verse-by-verse study of the apostle Paul's letters to the believers at Corinth. We are fond of saying that GSPC is not a perfect place, but the Corinthian congregation really had some issues! Come and learn how God used the apostle Paul to help put them back on track. ALL are WELCOME to be part of this class.
TUESDAYS 10:00 AM TO NOON - THE BIBLE PLAIN AND SIMPLE
THE BIBLE PLAIN AND SIMPLE with Dr. Bill Creasy. This is a unique opportunity to study the Bible with a world-class Bible teacher. Dr. Bill Creasy, founder of Logos Ministries, continues this verse-by-verse study through the entire Bible, Genesis to Revelation! The Summer Quarter is currently underway. Childcare is available through age 4. This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to study the Bible with a world-class teacher. $65 per Quarter.

FRIDAYS 9:00 AM TO 11:00 AM - COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY (CBS)
COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY (CBS), is an interdenominational, in-depth Bible study for WOMEN of all ages in the community. CBS includes small group discussions, lectures and commentary notes each week.
CBS is currently on break for the summer but will resume September 12 with an in-depth study of Galations, Hebrews, and Thessalonians. Registration for the fall can be done via the
CBS website.
